Rep. Jeff Flake: Obama's budget not serious

The GOP is firing back at President Obama after the release of his 2012 budget proposal Monday.

One critic of the president's budget is Rep. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) who says Obama's budget isn't serious when it comes to spending cuts. Flake also addresses the increasingly popular "Birther" movement. Hear what Rep. Jeff Flake tells American Morning's Kiran Chetry.

Interesting and revealing use of language by Rep. Flake when describing the passing down of wealth from parents to their children as "heirs". Most Americans don't have any "wealth" to pass down to anyone!! Perhaps he used the word in a legal context but "heirs" is mostly associated with wealth and royalty. No one needs a psychiatrist to see which way this Congressman tilts!

This guy IS a flake. Republicans would never accept Obama's budget if Jesus himself came down and said he approved of it. The Republicans will not be happy until they've made certain the Democratic president fails in anything he attempts to accomplish, and taken away all women's civil and reproductive rights, not to mention the rights of anyone who's different in any way. They are also set of screwing over the older Americans who have every right to expect to retire at the age at which they've been promised after contributing their money into Social Security their entire lives.

Anyone who voted these nasty people into office should be ashamed, as should any Democrats who stayed home form the poles because they were in a snit over something the president did or said of which they didn't approve. I by no means approve of everything Obama has done but any reasonable human being should be able to see that the Republican agenda is to roll back rights and turn the country into an extremist conservative morass.
