Rep. Peter King (R-NY) will be holding Congressional hearings on the threat of home-grown terrorism Thursday.
Rep. King, the Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, says the threat needs to be investigated but there are many Americans who disagree; 500 protesters gathered in New York's Times Square Sunday in opposition to the hearings.
T.J. Holmes talks to Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, the President of the American lslamic Forum for Democracy, who will be testifying at Thursday's hearings and Eboo Patel, the Founder and President of Interfaith Youth Core, who says the hearings are dividing Americans.

America cannot ignore the obvious. All known terrorists incidents were caused by Muslims age 17 to 37 (approximately). These are the people to be screened at airports and because the general Muslim population fails to stand up for America and to mesh into our society, they all need to be looked at. If we experience one more terrorist incident, we need to close the borders entirely until we solve the problem.
Nihad Awad the leader of CAIR stated Islam isn't in America to be equal. Too bad we have those people who are so imbued with political correctness defending Islamist group like CAIR, ISNA, MAS, and MPAC. Political correctness was created in good intentions, but is often overused, misused, or taken way out of context.
"...the hearings are dividing Americans."
I'm an American, I'm not ambivalent about the hearing. I'm rather pleased my government is doing something.
The liberals are extremely delusional because they actually think by keep feeding the crocodile, it will eat them last.
This is a step in the right direction. Should have happened much earlier ....!
about time. hearings are a must. Let's not delude ourselves ...
