A growing trend across the nation shows more states are treating teenagers as juvenile delinquents than as adults in court.

2012 race takes shape as possible presidential hopefuls visit Iowa

While no one has officially entered the 2012 race yet, six potential presidential hopefuls will be in Iowa Monday in an attempt to gain the support of future caucus-goers.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, businessman Herman Cain, Texas Rep. Ron Paul and former Louisiana Gov. Buddy Roemer will all be in the Hawkeye State Monday, where the caucus is less than a year away. CNN Senior Political Analyst Ed Rollins and CNN Contributor John Avlon talk to American Morning's Kiran Chetry about the budding 2012 race and the possible presidential hopefuls.

Are Congressional hearings putting Islam on trial?

Rep. Peter King (R-NY) will be holding Congressional hearings on the threat of home-grown terrorism Thursday.

Rep. King, the Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, says the threat needs to be investigated but there are many Americans who disagree; 500 protesters gathered in New York's Times Square Sunday in opposition to the hearings.

T.J. Holmes talks to Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, the President of the American lslamic Forum for Democracy, who will be testifying at Thursday's hearings and Eboo Patel, the Founder and President of Interfaith Youth Core, who says the hearings are dividing Americans.

Man survives after 96 minutes of CPR

Howard Snitzer collapsed on a Minnesota sidewalk while running errands and laid on the sidewalk without a pulse. But for 96 minutes a medical team and dozens of strangers performed CPR, determined to save Snitzer's life.

Peacekeeping mission to fight Somali pirates unrealistic, author says

The Somali pirates who captured seven Danes last week in the waters of the Indian Ocean have reportedly moved the victims to land, making a potential rescue mission more difficult.

Author of "The Pirates of Somalia" Jay Bahadur has studied and lived among Somali pirates. Bahadur talks to Kiran Chetry and Ali Velshi about his time with them and says an international peacekeeping mission to combat piracy is unrealistic.

Man who shot U.S. airmen possibly influenced by social media

The man accused of killing two US. service members at a German airport Wednesday has confessed and was reportedly targeting American soldiers.

Authorities say the 21 year-old suspect in custody is a recently radicalized Muslim who told investigators he acted alone. CNN Terrorism Analyst Paul Cruickshank talks to Kiran Chetry and Ali Velshi about the recent attack and what might have influenced the the man in custody.
