You guys pick on everyone who questions Obamas birth ceterficate. Do you Not understand if he is not an American citizen he does Not have the right to even run for president. Do you not question why his own grandmother says he was born elsewhwre and she can confirm this because she was in the room, and someone please give me a reason why he does Not release his birth certificate

I don't understand the hatred for Donald Trump. The guy never espoused the notion that our president was not a citizen. He pushed for it to come to a resolution; for Obama to release the original document.

The president seems a bit silly for giving in after stonewalling for two years. Is Trump questioning the authenticity of the birth certificate? Nope. Is he going on about dual-citizenry? Nope. He's asking about college records. His question, on its face is fair – how do you get into an ivy-league school with poor grades? Other presidents have released their records, and it doesn't seem unreasonable to ask a question like this.

For a president who promised to restore transparency in Washington, I'm seeing very little. Am I supposed to believe that it's okay because 'we have bigger problems to handle'? I don't. That's how you get the Patriot Act, people – by stifling discussion and forgoing transparency under the guise of necessity.

To be sure, a lot of birthers are probably racists, and no amount of evidence will satisfy them. The dual citenzry technicality seems desperate. There are, though, amidst the volumes of rhetoric, legitimate questions that are being asked, and looking for answers to these does not make someone racist.

Less smoke, more transparency, in government – is holding a man to his word racist?

I think President Obama was saving the birth certificate to use later as a trump card in the next election. Donald Trump forced him to play his hand earlier than President Obama wanted to.

Took over 3 years since Hillary Clinton's campain first questioned his place of birth for him to finally release it. Also why (according to CNN) was around two million dollars spent over the past few years fighting the release of it. Of course there will still be doubters.

Please, please do not give Trump anymore coverage regarding President Obama's birth certificate – he is nauseating and a total waste of everyones' time.

Maybe we should all ask ourselves a little question about Trump. This guy has filed for bankruptcy three times. The latest in 2009. Is this how he plans to solve the USA economic melee...file for bankruptcy? This guy is wrecking ball. We need to cut his cable.

It's not enough that President O'bama graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard or that he was the Editor of the Harvard Law Review, the institutions highest honor. Now the carnival barker wants his high school transcripts as well? I think he just wants to know if he was affirmative action, and Trump is racially motivated.

A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it. The truth is the truth even if no one believes it.
