What will become of al Qaeda now?
CNN's American Morning speaks with CNN national security analyst about the future of al Qaeda. Bergen says the death is major because when individuals join al Qaeda they take a personal oath to bin Laden himself. Now with his death, no one is that charismatic to take his place.

I can well believe the U. S. didn't tell the Pakistani government what was going on until the raid was over-they cant keep their mouth shut and they are milking us for economic aid. I found it ludicrous that Pres. Mussharif(?) protested the raid when Bin Laden had been living in Pakistan for possibly as much as six years. I could understand it if he said he was deeply disturbed that Bin Laden had been living there for a long time and how that had happened but I understand why Pakistanis weren't told – the military sure didn't broadcast what they were going to do on CNN, did they? I grew up in what was then the Strategic Air Command of the USAF during the Cold War. the best way to keep something secret IS NOT TO TALK ABOUT IT!!!!! Try reading any of Tom Clancy's techno-thrillers and you'll understand WHY the U.S. military wont talk to the news media or anyone else.
The killing of Osama takes care of some old business, but we have a lot of new business before us. The entire network of world alliances is changing quickly and in ways Americans of 2001 would never have believed. If we needed imagination then, we need it more now. For instance, I saw very few faces of color in the crowds of spontaneous celebrants at the news of Osama's demise. Why? Is America once more blind to a large truth about our world and vast numbers of the American people?
I would just like to say thanks to are service members for doing a GREAT JOB. They where tasked with finding a needle in 1000 haystacks and completed flawlessly, and I would like to say Great Job
President Bush whos gave the Task to the miltary. I hope this will be seen as a acomplishment by the miltary not used a political gain.
