I think that the subsidies should be taken away for many reasons. The government is busy cutting things for the average american supposedly to cut the" deficeit. If they would remove these subsidies from the oil companies they would not have to take so much away from the average american. Also if they used the subsidies for which they were intended it would be another story.Bottom line is that they don't.They were suppose to build more refineries, drill more and instead they are pocketing this money at the expense of the american taxpayer. They say,"That they create jobs,I would like to know how?"When they with the High gas prices are making it impossible for the average american to afford to even drive to work.In essence they are causeing hardships for americans. They are greedy and something needs to be done.I live in a rural area and my job is 35 miles away,I earn a little over $7.00 an hour. That is 70 miles round trip,I spend over half of what I earn for gas. There are many with the same problem.I feel that if they are getting these subsidies they do not have to sock it to the american people by these out rageous prices. They were making big bucks at 2.50 a gallon. What they are doing is making it impossible for the average person to live.Everything is being taken away from the average person and big business is living high off the hog.How sad!!!!
