St. Martin Parish, Louisiana braces for flooding

Towns in the south are preparing for the arrival of floodwaters, two days after the opening of the Morganza spillway.

    I think that the people in Louisiana's major cities who are being spared from the Mississippi River's flooding at the expense of those upstream ... should be willing to pay for it. Charge them a couple of dollars in a one time tax to repay those who will probably lose everything!
