Question of the Day: Do you think Sarah Palin will run for president?
Washington (CNN) – Sarah Palin rode into Washington, D.C. on the back of a motorcycle Sunday, kicking off what is expected to be a week of stops to educate America about its founding principles.
She delivered her message on the National Mall as part of the "Rolling Thunder" rally in honor of Memorial Day.
Though Palin is not talking about a potential 2012 bid, many are speculating about whether or not Palin will throw her hat into the ring for the GOP nomination.

I hope she does not. I like her as a person but don't like as the president. This country has many qualified people to run. We keep electing idiots.
I hate the media for asking this question. Remember what you were like as a news agency about 15 years ago? When you'd cover events and not speculate like a bunch of fanboy/girls about it? Baiting us for some attention? Honestly, ignore her. This is a publicity stunt, just like everything else that catchphrase loving half-wit does. You are all being strung along by a MORON. Good grief I hope not! We've had lots of opportunities in the past to put a clown in the White House, but Sarah Palin adds a whole new meaning to buffoonery. I'm embarrassed for the Republicans for their lack of viable candidates thus far. Palin would make the show a complete vaudeville act.
She makes women look foolish, like a loose cannon looking for an opportunity to shoot something or someone simply for the reward of self-aggrandizement.

Unfortunately for all Americans she will run for President, even though she’s unqualified and was nearly impeached as governor in her home state. She’s not the woman who should be the first woman President, in fact being a woman seems to be the only reason people want her to run. America will be in a sad state of affairs if she gets in office. Heaven help us all, because the poor will be worse off, the country will to and most likely she’ll make George W Bush look like one of the better Presidents of our time!

Sara is all fluff and nothing inside. Easy on the eyes but no education in the real world. US elections are popularity contests with no regard for the REAL problems and REAL solutions. Who is paying for this "not a campaign bus" for her to wheel around the country? IF she did run and win (Sara with the NUKE codes???) come up to Canada. We will stand up with her for our freedom and moral values. We will not let media choose a candidate for us. What we want from media is objective and fair news covering – based on facts. Sara Palin wants a second chance. She likes publicity and thinks she's got what it takes. Me? i would rather not-personally i think shes a joke. I do not think that she will win anyway. I read at http://www.naro.gr that she made a vague statement about the upcoming elections-implying that she might run (god heavens!). I think there is a reason she's in Alaska-placed there in order to attract tourists! she's kind of a local mascot... People in alska that rely heavily on tourists, would never want to lose her..she has a moral obligation to stay in Alaska-for them!!! hell yes! How agrees with me?

I hope she runs she couldn't do worse than Obama, as for her leaving her last job I give her credit for not wanting to put the State she loves first over stupid charges about her that had no foundation but had to be answered anyway because she was governor, I think she did the best think for her State and their budget. I feel that she would make a better President than Obama he can't keep any promises he makes, I am a Democrat and would not vote for him.
Not only should she run, she should tap Donald Trump as her running mate. The Diva and the Donald! What a ticket that would make!! You know, laughter is a great tonic and that duo would give SNL and all the nightly talk shows wonderful material for the next 10 years. Yes I think that she will run in 2012. She has the ability to easily beat President Obama if she just sticks to the issues that matter to Americans; such as the economy, the deficit and medicare. Americans need a change in leadership and Sarah Palin is the one to do it. The people that say she is unqualified are uninformed, she is much more qualified than Obama was when he ran for President in 2008. Americans need to take a new look at Sarah Palin and forget about the Tina Fey impressions and the Katie Couric interview. If they take a closer look at what she has to offer they might just discover that they like what they see.
When you laugh at the idea of Sarah Palin running for office, remember that this is the Republican Party you are placing so much faith in– the same party that sold Wisconsin on Scott Walker, the party that promotes Paul Ryan’s budget plan, the party that gave us two terms of George W Bush. This is the party that continually gets Americans to vote against their own economic interest and liberty. Is there anything the Republican Party can’t sell to their own base?
United States is at its critical moment. The challenges ranging from economic recovery, foreign policy, and war are too enormous for a novice. Many nations are waiting and praying for America to make the last mistake...mistake of leadership choice versus unipolarity.
She's not going to run. She's getting far too much attention simply from the speculation. She's gotten far too much attention from the liberal media. More to the point, she's still allowed on Fox News, unlike Santorum and Gingrich. Therefore, she's still collecting too much moeny for her to run for elected office. Besides, she'd probably quit halfway through the campaign anyway.

Sarah Palin is attempting to enhance her political power. She loves the attention she receives from the media just as (you) the media enjoy the ratings they receive from discussing Sarah Palin. Senator John McCain is delusional in thinking Sarah can defeat President Obama. Yes! Senator McCain you and your team came back from the ponders stating you would not win. However, get over it, because YOU AND SARAH DID NOT WIN. Sarah will convince others to support she and her family on their vacation around the country (gas, food, travel etc). Sarah Palin knows she is not qualified to be elected as President of the United States.
When are you in the media going to quit gushing over this greedy, self-serving, stupid woman? There are many women in the Republican party worthy of consideration as a presidential candidate but Sarah Palin is NOT one of them. Sara Palin was selected as a running mate for McCain for no other reason other than arm candie for him, her only qualifications are how to kill moose and other animals, She is a rable rouser who is very good at it, and nothing more, any other women in the U.S. could bly do a better job as president than she, how could the people of the U. S. vote such an unknown, and ill equiped person as president, but then again they voted bush for a second term after seeing how ill equiped he was. It is very scary

It is the nature of governing that a President must be centrist. Sarah Palin is anything but centrist. Does she really think that her ideas represent the majority of Americans, or is she so arrogant that she believes she can make us all accept and support her ideas? The extent of this arrogance will determine whether she runs.

Does anyone in the mainstream media even care about the future of our country anymore? When all I hear is speculation about Sarah 'clueless' Palin, the answer is 'no', you don't. You care about ratings. Clearly, the dumbing down of America is complete.
The media got punked by Trump and now they are falling for it all over again with Palin. It is sad to see news networks sink so low just for ratings. Last week your President was overseas at the G8 and met with the top world leaders to discuss important, historical issues. He represented your country with class and intelligence but your network overshadowed his trip with news about whether Palin was going to run and other attention grabbing stories. Yesterday she grabbed the headlines by jumping onto the bikers ride and it got more coverage than your President showing real compassion in Joplin and giving an inspirational talk at the memorial service that could and should give hope to all Americans. The speech was covered once and then has been scantily mentioned since but Palin's name has been mentioned about eight times each hour. You would almost think you guys were campaigning for her. Anyway, just like Trump she is boxing herself into a corner. Either she finally runs or she looks like a loser and everyone will know she wasn't serious and was just doing it for attention and cold, hard cash. But the media is falling for it hook line and sinker.

If the White House had a football team, Palin would make the best cheer leading captain this country has ever seen. But she is most certainly not the best choice for President. Hopefully, Americans will respond as so many other employers have in recent times: "Mrs. Palin, though we appreciate your interest in the position, we have decided to go with a more qualified candidate at this time."
I hope she does not run. President Obama needs to have a challenge to face, not a runaway election. It would be a boring campaign. Maybe she could run in 2016. If she cares about the country, then she will NOT run. She could not handle running 1 of 50 States so she QUIT as Governor...how could she possibly handle leading all 50 States??? This is the straightforward truth that ends her chances...if she does run, then she only wastes Republican money and energy. She needs to ensure to stay on the sidelines and let individuals that will face adversity run, rather than quit. And I'm conservative!

She is qualify to run but the question is if she is capable, the office of the United States President required a serious person not a celebrity who is after money or so. If she is really serious about running she need to do a lot of homework like knowing the difference between continent and country, it might look simple but it will be a shame for a president of United State to call Africa a country.

I'm not sure if she will run but I can tell you one thing for sure, She wont beat obama if she does. To beat obama your gonna need a candidate that has support from some independents and democrats and I dont think she has that and I think she is the reason McCain Lost in 08.
There is no way she is going to run for president. She just couldn't afford the cut in pay. She left the govenor's office for money and that is really all she is interested in. A celebrity politician who knows deep down if she ever did try a run in earnest she would be crushed.

Just saw the intterview wiith the USMC reserve officer that found herself on the front line. As a former Army Ranger, I dont think women should serve in special forces units. However, women can serve as medics, gunners, drivers.As an RN, I have worked with some very special nurses who MORE than hold their own saving lives in critical situations. If a woman volunteers to serve in a combat unit in those roles, I think she should be given the opportunity to serve. Patric
Sarah Palin has no intention of running for President, but knows that as soon as she says so she becomes about as relevant as Dan Quayle. The entire purpose of Palin’s bus tour is to re-brand herself as something other than a politician. She knows that she’s no Chief Executive, but rather an entertainment personality. Cuting the debt? Make all government officials pay out of pocket for all health care and end all retirement entitlements, then, they can cut Medicare, only after they are on it... Let's throw government officials off the cliff after retirement.
