Today on American Morning, Christine Romans reports on the morning business news headlines.
Today we're watching:
* The Dow, NASDAQ and S&P 500 all rose late in the day yesterday after reports that France and Germany might expand the size of its Eurozone bailout fund.
* Apple missed analyst expectations for the first time since at least 2004. The tech giant made $6.6 billion dollars in the third quarter, saying that the slowdown is a result of people waiting for the new iPhone.
* Social security recipients are expected to see a 3.5% increase next year when the cost of living boost kicks in. However, many may not notice the increase because of a hike in Medicare premiums.
