Gold coins, diamonds dropped in Salvation Army buckets – what's behind the generosity?

This holiday season, streets all over the country are ringing once again. The Salvation Army bell ringers are out in full force.

They've been bringing in some big donations – and people are dropping more than just cash into those red buckets. The Salvation Army says they've received gold coins and even diamonds.

Alina Cho talks with Major George Hood, National Community Relations and Development Secretary for the Salvation Army, to discuss some of these interesting finds.
