Christine O'Donnell explains her endorsement of 2012 GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney

Christine O'Donnell, the former Republican Senate candidate and a Tea Party favorite during the 2010 election, announced her endorsement of Mitt Romney for the 2012 GOP presidential candidacy last evening.

Following her announcement, O'Donnell issued a statement that said, "For me, this endorsement comes down to trust. I am endorsing Governor Romney because I trust him to do the right thing. He has the strength of conviction to do the right thing regardless of opposition. America needs a president who is not a Washington Insider."

On American Morning today, O'Donnell sits down with Carol Costello to explain why she supports Romney and to weigh in on whether or not her endorsement will influence the candidate's support among the Tea Party.
