Stabbing suspect's checkered past

The manhunt is over, but, the questions are just beginning.There is new information about the serial stabbing suspect and his prior brushes with the law. Police say Elias Abuelazam went on a violent rampage across three states, and came very close to slipping out of the country. Authorities apparently missed chances to stop him sooner. CNN's Jeanne Meserve reports.

Feds: Military contractor scammed nearly $200M

(CNN) – A bizarre case is playing out in a New York courtroom. The feds say a former CEO scammed his company for nearly $200 million. They say he spent it on prostitutes for employees, plastic surgery for his wife, cars, trips, parties, and the list goes on. So why should you care? Alina Cho has the answer.

Military impersonators scamming women online

(CNN) – Criminals are using photos of soldiers stolen off the Web to create fake profiles of eligible bachelors on a host of different dating Web sites. The scammers' goal? Lure women into falling in love, only to dupe them out of money in the end. CNN has confirmed it's happening to everyone from infantrymen all the way up to generals at the Pentagon. Special Investigations Unit correspondent Abbie Boudreau introduces to some victims of the crime. Watch Video

'Scammed:' Your tax dollars buying smokes & beer

(CNN) – For nearly 50 years, the government has helped feed struggling families across the nation through its Food Stamp Program. These days, instead of stamps, the government sends out debit cards funded by your tax dollars. The problem? Some people are illegally using those cards to get cash, beer, cigarettes, and worse.
