Ohno urges kids to make healthy choices

(CNN) – From "Dancing with the Stars" to skating for Olympic gold, some say there isn't a challenge speed skater Apolo Ohno can't conquer.

He joined us on Tuesday's American Morning to discuss his new mission: to stop underage drinking and start getting kids more interested in healthy lifestyles.

FDA taking a closer look at key chemical in anti-bacterials

(CNN) – The Food and Drug Administration is taking a closer look at a chemical found in many anti-bacterial products.

One concern is that the chemical Triclosan has been linked to altering hormone regulation in animals. The FDA also says some of anti-bacterial products are no more effective than plain old soap and water.

Dr. Sarah Janssen, a scientist with the Natural Resources Defense Council, joined us on Monday's American Morning to discuss the FDA's review.

Does any part of health reform take effect before 2014

(CNN) – Health care reform is a done deal, but you still have a lot of questions. It's a job for our chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, who joined us on Thursday's American Morning to answer the following questions:

Question 1: Will the CHIP program continue to receive adequate funding?

Question 2: What section or language in the bill limits the benefits of the bill to U.S. citizens and legal immigrants?

Question 3: If a young person is in school and off their parents' insurance can they be returned to it with this health care reform?

Question 4: Does any part of health reform take effect before 2014?

Study: Soda tax isn't curbing obesity in kids

(CNN) – A new study says the soda tax isn't doing its job and the solution may be to make us pay even more for junk food.
