Wrestler who wouldn't fight a girl speaks about it for first time

Joel Northrup is a 15 year-old high school wrestler from Marion, Iowa and was a favorite to win his weight class in the state tournament. But when Northrup learned he was slotted to wrestle a girl in the first-round, he forfeited, citing his religion.

Repetitive impact, not the big hit, of great concern

Dave Duerson, a former Chicago Bears safety, was found dead Thursday in Florida at the age of 50.

His death was ruled a suicide due to a gun-shot to the chest, according to the New York Times. Duerson's brain was left intact and, therefore, able to be examined for a brain injury called chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a wish he expressed to his family in text messages. Dr. Keith Black, M.D. is the Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and talks to T.J. Holmes about Duerson's death and CTE.

One man to run two marathons per day for eleven months

Running two marathons per day for 11 months will get you from the North Pole to the South Pole. And Pat Farmer is aiming to raise $100 million for the Australian Red Cross by doing just that.

Farmer, a supermarathoner and former Federal Minister of Australian Parliament and Parliament Secretary for Education, Science and Training, plans to make the trip running through 14 countries along the way. He will start in the Arctic Circle and will eventually conclude his long journey in Antarctica around February, 2012. Farmer talks to T. J. Holmes about his impending challenge.

Torres training, hoping to make 2012 Olympic team

Dara Torres was the oldest swimmer to compete in the 2008 Olympics at age 41, where she clinched three silver medals and missed a gold by 1/100th of a second. And Torres has no plans to let age hold her back; she is currently training for the 2012 Olympics where she hopes compete at the age of 45.

She's already the most decorated female swimmer in American history, so why is Torres still pushing forward? Dara Torres sits down with CNN's T.J. Holmes to talk about her Olympic career.

Coach steps up to the plate, donates kidney to player

Kevin Jordan was in need of a kidney but none of his family members proved to be a match. But Jordan, a Wake Forest baseball star, got the gift of a lifetime Monday when he received a kidney from his coach, Tom Walter.

The two tell their story to American Morning's Kiran Chetry.

Max Page: The face behind the Force

Max Page has never seen Star Wars but he's taking the country by storm with his performance as a mini Darth Vader.

6 year-old Page is the star of the popular Volkswagen commercial that premiered Super Bowl Sunday and has garnered nearly 20 million views on YouTube. This morning Max takes off his mask and, with his mother Jennifer Page, talks to Kiran Chetry about his national debut.
