Counting Down Cady: Out of this world 'Chicks Network'

Editor's Note: Cady Coleman, Ph.D. is a NASA astronaut – a veteran of two space missions, who has logged over 500 hours in space. She is assigned to the Expedition 26 crew and is scheduled to fly to the International Space Station aboard the Russian Soyuz 25 in late 2010. This is part of our year-long American Morning original series, "Counting Down Cady."

(CNN) – Cady Coleman was 18 when six women made history and helped make her future possible. They were part of the astronaut class of 1978. Sally Ride, America's first woman in space, was one of them.

Today, for our continuing original series "Counting Down Cady," our John Zarrella takes a look at the bond shared by female astronauts.

Facebook posting allegedly led to house robbery

(CNN) – Here's a warning about what you post online and how you choose your virtual friends. A couple is learning the hard way that you need to be careful what you reveal.

Keri McMullen, from New Albany, Indiana, posted this innocent-seeming status update last weekend on Facebook: "Heading to the Hill with Kurt... To see Fire Department."

She was headed out to a bar called Phoenix Hill to see a band called Fire Department. The show started at 8. At 8:42, two men broke into Keri's house. The whole thing was caught on camera. She posted some of the pictures online and began to realize that one of the men looked suspiciously like someone who had recently friended her on Facebook.

Keri McMullen and her fiance Kurt Pendleton joined us on Friday's American Morning to share their warning for Internet users.

Are we wiring the wrong America?

(CNN) – Communities across America are in a fierce competition right now. The prize: high speed Internet.

Last year's federal stimulus package set aside $7.2 billion for broadband access. The government is now getting ready to choose who gets the second and final wave of the grants.

But not without major criticism from House Republicans. They're crying foul, saying money for broadband is not going to the areas that need it most. Our Mary Snow spoke to some who feel like they were left in the lurch.

Conan O'Brien follows one Twitter user at random

(CNN) – Ousted NBC host Conan O'Brien has been laying low since his short-lived Tonight Show gig ended in January. But he has popped up on Twitter @ConanOBrien and fans have flocked to the page. Conan's been having a little fun, too.

On Friday he tweeted this: "I've decided to follow someone at random. She likes peanut butter and gummy dinosaurs. Sarah Killen, your life is about to change."

After that, Sarah's Twitter account @LovelyButton exploded and she just broke 20,000 followers. She and her fiance, John Slowik, joined us on Wednesday's American Morning.
