Sen. Durbin: "What we are seeing today is encouraging in Libya"

In response to President Obama's speech on Libya Monday, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) says the no-fly zone is working and says, "What we are seeing today is encouraging in Libya".

Sen. Durbin will also be holding hearings on protecting the civil rights of American Muslims Tuesday, just a few weeks after Rep. Peter King's (R-NY) hearing on the "radicalization of American Muslims".

Sen. McCain responds to Obama's address, says he wants Gadhafi out

President Obama addressed the nation about the U.S.'s involvement in Libya Monday and said the goal there is regime change without force.

Senator John McCain (R-AZ), Ranking Member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, has criticized the President's statement and says military force against the leader shouldn't be taken off the table. Sen. McCain talks to Christine Romans about Monday's address.

President Obama will speak on Libya Monday

President Obama will address the nation about Operation Odyssey Dawn and the U.S.'s involvement in military action there Monday evening.

NATO will take control of Libya no-fly zone

NATO has announced it will be taking control of the no-fly zone in Libya this weekend, leaving coalition forces in control of airstrikes on Gadhafi's ground forces.

Damon Wilson is the Executive Vice President of Atlantic Council and a former Top Aide to NATO Secretary General. Wilson talks to Christine Romans about the latest developments out of Libya.

Two planes land without guidance as air traffic controller sleeps

Two planes were left to land without guidance Wednesday when they heard no response from the air traffic control tower.

The controller who was on duty is a 20-year veteran of the job, and has admitted he was asleep at the time of the incident. The FAA has suspended the controller while they investigate what happened.

Bob Richards is a former air traffic controller and author of "Secrets from the Tower". Richards talks to Ali Velshi about Wednesday's close call at Reagan National Airport.
