Judge rules Jared Lee Loughner incompetent

A judge ruled Jared Lee Loughner, the man accused of the shooting in Tucson that killed six people and wounded Representative Gabrielle Giffords, not competent to stand trial. He will remain in U.S. custody until he is stable enough for the trial to proceed.

5 patients killed in tornado at Joplin's St. John's Medical Center

Joplin's St. John's Regional Medical Center is the only building still standing for miles in the tornado-ravaged city. Sunday's tornado claimed the lives of five of the 183 patients there.

Joplin couple survives tornado by hiding in their basement

Ella Smith and her husband sought refuge in the basement of their Joplin home when the tornado was bound to hit. Their home was destroyed and collapsed ontop of them; the two were pulled out from under the rubble and survived.

New reports: ADHD and Autism on the rise

Director of the CDC's National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities, Dr. Coleen Boyle talks about new reports saying that there has been a 17% increase on children and teens in the U.S. with developmental disabilities such as ADHD and Autism.

Head of IMF, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, charged with sex abuse

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), was charged early Sunday with sexual abuse. The 62-year-old Strauss-Kahn was accused of chasing a housekeeper and trying to sexually assault her while in a New York hotel room. He is expected to be arraigned Monday.
