Prince William, Kate to wed at Westminster Abbey in April

(CNN) Prince William of England will marry Kate Middleton on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London, the royal family announced today, ending a week of furious speculation about the date and venue.
Prince William gave Diana's sapphire-and-diamond engagement ring to his fiancee when he proposed during a vacation in Kenya last month. The prince and Middleton, both 28, have been dating since 2003.

Royal biographer Mark Saunders talks to AM's Kiran Chetry and John Roberts this morning. He explains why he thinks Westminster Abbey is probably "the better venue."

Cyndi Lauper fighting AIDS one red lipstick at a time

Cyndi Lauper shares her favorite lipstick on AM today. It's bright red and can help fight AIDS, too.

Lauper, a spokesperson for MAC AIDS Fund/Viva Glam, explains how the lipstick can help the cause, and her role in the campaign, MAC's most successful campaign, also featuring Lady Gaga.

Later today, MAC AIDS Fund and Lauper will present a $175,000 grant to God's Love We Deliver, the New York tri-state area's leading provider of nutritious, individually-tailored meals to people who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves this Thanksgiving.

CNN's Kiran Chetry and Jim Acosta asked Lauper about why she paired with MAC for this program.

Pats and scans here to stay despite uproar, TSA chief says

Wondering where you'll be patted down when you head to the airport for Thanksgiving this week?

With the busiest travel day of the year approaching, we address the uproar over the full-body scanners and aggressive pat-downs with TSA Administrator John Pistole.

Sunday afternoon, Pistole said in a Politico statement that the procedures would be "adapted as conditions warrant" to make them "as minimally invasive as possible."

This morning, AM asks Pistole, what can travelers expect this week before they fly, especially children, after a cell phone video revealed a shirtless boy receiving a pat-down hit the Web.
